recognition technology as it becomes proven. It is generally thought
that this migration to voice to text will be gradual and the role of
the medical transcriptionist will evolve to that of a medical editor.
However, today’s transcription needs of medical providers is
simple; provide accurate documents, within turnaround, and deliver the
document in the required technology format. OSi is committed to providing
those basic tenets of quality, turnaround and technology. While these
needs of health care providers are very basic, how OSi accomplishes
these goals can be quite sophisticated.

Document Delivery
You name it, we can do it: On-site printing, faxing, or e-mail delivery,
HL7 upload & download, ADT demographic transfer, report reconciliation,
etc. In addition, we can develop a customized interface with either
your own in-house system or we can install one of the numerous previously
developed and existing interfaces with some of the major systems such
as SoftMed, HBOC, MediTech, SMS, Cerner, Affinity, etc. Tell us how

Billing Verification Services
OSi can review your latest invoice and by sampling typed reports, provide
you with a computer verification of your current charges to determine
if you are being charged appropriately for your current services.

Transcription Consulting
OSi provides a complete range of consulting services for the medical
transcription industry. These services offered range from RFP development
and award to efficiency benchmarking for hospitals wishing to improve
the performance of their internal transcription teams. OSi has the industry
experience to develop and, if needed, participate in the decision of
the final vendor award. An OSi consultant will meet on-site to determine
the needs and scope of the project. We can help determine which vendor
proposal will ultimately be most cost effective and deliver the services
actually needed. Unfortunately, it is difficult with all of the disparate
systems in the marketplace to determine which vendor is really offering
the best and lowest price solution.

Recording Processing
After voice capture or extraction, OSi's computerized and automated
systems automatically route the voice to the assigned medical transcription
team for conversion to the required high quality text. Each account
is protected by a roving backup team of medical transcriptionists who
are cross-trained in your account's particular needs and requirements.
Each client is provided with an on-site monitoring system that provides
a complete system of computerized productivity tracking tools, providing
online access to all transcription activity from dictation through report
completion and delivery.

Telecommunications
OSi employs a variety of methods and telecommunication linkages to
access or capture the dictated voice of the caregiver. OSi will provide
access for the caregivers to their multiple state of the art digital
dictation systems.
